Kids Matters OT has the sole purpose of Empowering Families and Transforming Lives. In this, we aim to provide the most effective Occupational Therapy treatment in partnership with the children, their families and their communities. We were established in 2005 and have been on a continual journey of improvement since then.

We are always open to employing experienced part-time or full-time OTs to work at our clinics. Our receptionists and admin team is integral to our success. Kids Matters OT currently has one exciting position.

Our therapists:

We need  therapists who “gets” kids and families and know how to treat them using a combination of developmental and top-down approaches so as to make a meaningful and functional change, not only for the kids, but for their parents and siblings too.

Approaches we use are based in a combination of sensory processing theory and practice/ sensory integration, DIR/ Floortime, NDT, Sensory Attachment Intervention, Executive Function training, COOP and skills training.

Our receptionists:

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for warm welcomes, fond farewells, and magic moments with children and their families. You will also be responsible for the efficient and effective administration support and most importantly, creating a “WOW” experience for everyone who comes in contact with us.

Seeking Receptionist & People Person

Are you looking for a new challenge and do you love helping people?

Kids Matters OT, Brisbane’s largest and most dynamic Occupational Therapy clinic, is seeking a full-time receptionist at our Greenslopes clinic to ensure that the first point of contact for parents and their children, both face to face and over the phone, is welcoming and professional. The receptionist warmly welcomes the new clients to the clinic, meets their administrative needs, cares for them outside their appointments and supports the therapists so they can serve their clients better.

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for warm welcomes, fond farewells, and magic moments with children and their families. You will also be responsible for the efficient and effective administration support and most importantly, creating a “WOW” experience for everyone who comes in contact with us.

We need you to:

  • be extra-mile in all that you do,
  • have the highest level of customer service,
  • be a great listener and communicator,

  • love serving and helping people,
  • be technically savvy,
  • learn quickly and 
  • be organized, efficient and great at following through on tasks.

This position is covering maternity leave for just over 12 months. Hours are casual and will range between 30-38 hours/ week. There is the option for some hours to continue by negotiation after this period. The ability to do some work at our Aspley clinic will be advantageous to continuing in a full-time capacity.
